Under previous employment, Ash worked with Brighton & Hove City Council to assess the commercial viability for a new station and visitor centre as well as a large repairs workshop further down the beach.

Acting as Cost Manager, Ash engaged with the planning design team and took the project from RIBA Stage 2 through to Stage 4. Producing the tender documentation, contract
documentation and then managing the costs through to completion and handover.

We were involved at every step, with keen focus on budget and cost reporting, including cost planning for a Heritage Fund application.

The project had many complex elements requiring piling and extensive utilities
upgrades in a very public environment. The project was delivered both within budget and on programme.
